Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine advanced cake artistry, this class will guide you through the professional techniques of working with ganache to achieve flawless finishes and stunning decorative elements. In this one day class, you’ll learn the complete process of creating a flawless 3 -tier pastel ombre ganache cake, which will forever be the center of attraction at any event you take it to. You will learn expert techniques of achieving super sharp edges using acrylic discs, making a fluted tier cake, colour layering on ganache and making my signature ombre ruffles. At the end of this class, you’ll take home your beautifully finished cake, along with the confidence and skills to recreate professional-standard results in your own kitchen. - Duration: 8am – 6pm - Cake Size: Round 5" 7” & 9” display tier - Finishing Medium: Whitened Chocolate Ganache What You’ll Learn - Making white chocolate ganache - Making Silky Smooth Swiss Meringue Buttercream - Expert techniques for torting and filling cakes - Whitening chocolate ganache - Straight sharp edge techniques for cakes using acrylic discs - Covering a 5 inch fluted tier in white chocolate ganache - Covering a 7 inch round tier in chocolate ganache - How to seamlessly remove acrylic discs - Colour theory - how to achieve pastel ombre colour layering on cakes - Covering a round display tier in fondant and making my signature ombre ruffles - Genius stacking techniques for stability and structure - Styling and photography tips
